When I have a church, this book will be on a highly recommended list for parents, and will be required reading for staff. It is easily read but deeply profound. I only wish that the adults that were in my life when I was young had read this book. Joy's premise is that our society has created this teenage wasteland known as adolescence that is enfringing evermore into the twenties and thirties. Dr. Joy provides detailed practical solutions to empower kids to be adults.
