I'm addicted to books. According to Umberto Eco I am building an anti-library, meaning I own way more books than I have read. I love good fiction, literature, theology, Biblical studies, philosophy, children's books, and lots more.

The Taming of the Shrew (Shakespeare, Pelican)

The Taming of the Shrew - William Shakespeare, Richard Hosley Laugh out loud funny. Full of tricks and people impersonating other people. Still, I felt kind of bad for shrewish "Kate" who seems to have been mentally broken like a P.O.W. in Manchuria. Ol' Bill could have named the play Braking Your Wife With Stockholm Syndrome. Actually, the taming of the shrew was only one story line. I do wish the Christophero Sly material in the intro would have played in a bit more throughout, but I do see how it connects.
