I got this book several years ago when I met Mike at a Rescue Mission fund raiser. Somehow I never read it till now, but I'm glad I finally got around to reading it. It is a page turner with some profound nuggets of truth embedded in it, as Mike and his friend Sam reflect on their four month journey around the country, living as homeless men. Besides the occasional theological reflection that made me raise a brow, I felt that he ended with a balanced approach to befriending and ministering to homeless people.
