I'm addicted to books. According to Umberto Eco I am building an anti-library, meaning I own way more books than I have read. I love good fiction, literature, theology, Biblical studies, philosophy, children's books, and lots more.

The Velveteen Rabbit: Or How Toys Become Real - Margery Williams, Charles Santore Cute story. The illustrations in this edition are beautiful. I'm not sure why, but I don't remember having ever finished this as a child. When I thought of the Velveteen Rabbit, I thought of the rabbit being incinerated. I'm suspecting that the babysitter that read it to me was being cruel and ended the tale prematurely. So, after all these years, I found that I was pleasantly surprised.

And so, evil babysitter, wherever you are...your scheme failed. Muhhhhaaawww, muuuhaawww, muuuuhhhaaaawwww.
