I'm addicted to books. According to Umberto Eco I am building an anti-library, meaning I own way more books than I have read. I love good fiction, literature, theology, Biblical studies, philosophy, children's books, and lots more.

Not Just a One-Night Stand: Ministry with the Homeless - John Flowers, Karen Vannoy I really liked this book. I pulled off the shelf because of the provocative title and soon realized that the had more that just style and catch phrases. The authors have a balanced view of working with people who are poor and homeless, realizing that people are more than just victims or lazy bums. They offer loads of practical advice for such a brief volume. Anyone who works with homeless people should think through this book. Ideal for small groups and ministry workshops.
