I'm addicted to books. According to Umberto Eco I am building an anti-library, meaning I own way more books than I have read. I love good fiction, literature, theology, Biblical studies, philosophy, children's books, and lots more.

Same Kind of Different As Me: A Modern-Day Slave, an International Art Dealer, and the Unlikely Woman Who Bound Them Together - Ron Hall, Denver Moore I found this book to be quite engaging and more moving than I would have expected. Due to circumstances I had to read the second half of the book in a single sitting, and I wasn't prepared to ball like a baby. This book reminds me how much of life we miss out on because we hide dying people quietly away from prying eyes. However, this wasn't your typical cross-cultural book full of blunders and missteps as two people from different worlds interact. There were a couple of instances of this, but I was surprised at how easily the relationship seemed to come together at points. All in all, I really liked it and found it touching and thought provoking.
