I'm addicted to books. According to Umberto Eco I am building an anti-library, meaning I own way more books than I have read. I love good fiction, literature, theology, Biblical studies, philosophy, children's books, and lots more.

The Giving Tree - Shel Silverstein I don't know how I got out of childhood without having read this. Recently, I had the pleasure of sitting with a group of three year olds and having it read to us. The kiddos seemed to take it in stride, but I wanted to cry (*uhump* I'm fine. I'm fine. I just have something in my eye...).
Here's the deal: now that I'm a parent, I read these types of books through that particular lens, and this book really lends itself to that kind of reading.
Easily read.
